Congratulations! This sounds a lot like my daughter's story... except for maybe the pants thing. I don't know what that's about. Anyway, I'm also autistic and feel much the same way as you describe here: I finally understand why I'm experiencing things differently than most other people. It took me 48 years, but I'm here and I'm not embarrassed.
